The below review is based on my standard categories and review scale with 1 Lucy 🚐 being the lowest score and 5 Lucys 🚐🚐🚐🚐🚐 being the highest.

Location: Rodanthe Watersports is within walking distance to multiple restaurants and shops and within a short drive to grocery stores. In addition to the plethora of watersports and activities available on site, the campground is within a short drive of both the Bodie Island Lighthouse and larger cities with more touristy attractions like Nags Head and Kill Devil Hills.

Community/Comfort: This park was vanlife heaven for me. Most of the campers were full time or long term travelers giving the park a very laid back vibe. Everyone was very friendly, and I felt incredibly safe.

Everything Else: The campground offered free WiFi which worked really well. Being so close to the water was amazing. I enjoyed sunset everyday and the breeze off the sound was glorious. Staying on the sound side meant I experienced less heat in the middle of the day and had the breeze during the late afternoon.

Overall I would rate Rodanthe Watersports as 5 Lucys 🚐🚐🚐🚐🚐. The views, the activities, and the overall vibe make this an absolute must visit campground. But book ahead because the spots go fast.

Happy Camping!
