Oconee Point Campground
After my time on the beautiful Lake Keowee, I headed south to check out Lake Hartwell. Oconee Point Campground was the place that I chose to make my home base. The below review is based on my standard categories and review scale with 1 Lucy 🚐 being the lowest score and 5 Lucys 🚐🚐🚐🚐🚐 being the highest.
General Information and Contact Information
Name: Oconee Point Campground
Address: 671 High Falls Rd, Seneca, SC 29672
Website: https://experienceoconee.com/parks/high-falls-park
Sites Available: Oconee Point Campground has 60 sites equipped with electric (20/30/50 amp) and water. Dump stations are located throughout the park. All of the sites are close to the water.

Outdoor Amenities/Activities: The sites at Oconee Point Campground are beautiful large sites with some tree coverage. My waterfront site gave me a beautiful view of Lake Hartwell. At the time of my visit, water levels were low so the water was a good distance from my site. The park has ample walking trails along the lake, a swimming area, and shorelines for kayak and paddleboard launching. There is so much to do right in this beautiful park.

Community/Comfort: This park was quiet and fun. Several of the campers were Clemson fans there to cheer on their team to victory. They had their sites all decked out in the school colors making it a very fun atmosphere. The Oconee Point Campground is a well kept park. The campers were there to enjoy the lake and just relax. The park felt very safe and welcoming to me as a solo traveler.

Everything Else: The location of the campground right on Lake Hartwell is the star of the show. The lake is clear, calm, and just beautiful. The park is also full of wide, paved walking paths that kept me busy all day exploring. WiFi is not available at the park and my AT&T cell signal was limited. But, my Starlink worked great.
5 Lucys for for Extras 🚐🚐🚐🚐🚐
Overall I would rate Oconee Point Campground as 5 Lucys 🚐🚐🚐🚐🚐. The access to the stunning lake makes this an absolute must visit campground. But book ahead because the spots go fast.
Happy Camping!
