Blue Ridge Falls RV Resort
During the early fall, I spent time exploring the beautiful western North Carolina mountains. During my travels I spent a week at Blue Ridge Falls RV Resort near Lake Toxaway, North Carolina. This beautiful little campground is family owned and operated and goes above and beyond to create a sense of community among their visitors. The below review is based on my standard categories and review scale with 1 Lucy 🚐 being the lowest score and 5 Lucys 🚐🚐🚐🚐🚐 being the highest.
General Information and Contact Information
Name: Blue Ridge Falls RV Resort
Address: 1476 Blue Ridge Rd, Lake Toxaway, NC 28747
Website: https://blueridgefallsrvresort.com/
Sites Available: Blue Ridge Falls RV Resort has 25 full hookup RV Sites for short term visits. They do offer glamping as well as long term stays. Several sites back-up to a small creek.
Outdoor Amenities/Activities: The sites at Blue Ridge are spacious and surrounded by trees giving you privacy from your neighbors. My site backed up to a bubbling creek and an open field that is the projected site for more camping spots. The campground has a beautiful shelter area with flowers, table, chairs and a fireplace. In addition there are ponds, play areas, and games to keep visitors busy. While there are a few small walking trails there is not an extensive amount of outdoor movement opportunities.

Bathrooms: There is a clean and spacious bath house in the middle of the campground. The house had 3 toilet stalls and 3 showers. The water was hot and the facilities were kept very clean. Right behind the bath house is a laundry facility with a sign up sheet for wash times which I thought was genius. No coins needed, just an honor system of placing money in the jar which was amazing.

Location: Getting to the Blue Ridge RV Resort took a bit of time due to the winding mountain roads. And while there is nothing within walking distance of the resort other than a post office, the area is full of incredible hiking and waterfalls. Most adventures are a 30-45 minute drive, but in the mountains that is expected. The owners of the resort are avid hikers and provided me with a print out of all the local hikes and waterfalls with directions, distances, and difficulty. They gave me advice on where I could easily park the van and were just so incredibly helpful.

Community/Comfort: Blue Ridge RV Resort puts an extraordinary amount of effort into creating a sense of community among their visitors. During my stay there was a nightly happy hour for guests to hang out and chat with each other and the owners. There was also a weekly pot luck dinner to allow visitors a chance to dine together and get to know each other. It was a very special place. Needless to stay I felt incredibly safe and welcomed as a solo female traveler.

Everything Else: There is a lot of good things I can say about Blue Ridge, but the most exceptional is the text messages I received from the owners before and after Hurricane Milton. After experiencing Hurricane Helene in their area, they cleaned up and got their facility up and running quickly. When they saw that Hurricane Milton was coming toward the Southeast US, they reached to their past visitors to let us know the facility was up and running and available to any of us that needed a safe place to ride out Milton or stay after. That kind of care just sums up this resort.

Overall I would rate Blue Ridge Falls RV Resort as 5 Lucys 🚐🚐🚐🚐🚐. I have recommend this site to friends and family and plan to return myself in the future.
Happy Camping
